From one thankful sojourner to my fellow earth-dwellers…
Let’s see…
This little blue marble we call Earth is suspended in orbit around a blazing sphere of hot plasma….just the exact place in our solar system so that we receive enough light and energy to live, breathe, and have our being, yet not too close that we would burn up and not too far that we would be frozen popsicles. Enough water, air and gravity to keep us safe & sound, with a small moon that will appear the same size as the sun in our sky because while the sun’s diameter is 400 times greater – the sun is also 400 times farther away!
Hmm.
Coincidence?
Or a Divine Plan hand-crafted by a Divine Power greater than we could ever imagine or hope for?
Psalm 148
Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His host!
Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars!
Praise Him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens!
Let them praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded and they were created. He established them for ever and ever; He fixed their bounds, which cannot be passed.
I prefer to side with the Psalmist. How about you?
