A New Season.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing. A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away. A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak. A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

Since January of 2010, I’ve been publishing “As I See It” blogs (3x per week on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays) here on our website, thecontemplativeactivist.com. Now, as I grow closer to age 70 (in July 2021), I’m sensing a strong invitation from Jesus to slow down on my writing and allow more time for pondering on those things I’ve already written over the years. A quick look at our As I See It Archives page reveals at least 25 different blog series I’ve penned over the last ten years. Wow! That makes for a lot of writing…and reading!

I have certainly been blessed to know over these last ten years that so very many of you, my faithful readers, have appreciated my writings. For that, I’m very thankful. So now, beginning Monday April 26, 2021, we are transitioning from writing new blogs to pulling quotes and other memorable thoughts from my past writings and simply sharing those as “Quote Me on This” blog posts, sent out on a regular basis to all my blog subscribers.

I hope you’ll enjoy them.

Of course, each post will include a link to the full blog series the quote came from. That way, you can either run with the quote alone or it might prompt you to do a bit more reading on the subject.

Either way, I still hope I’ll hear from you.

Thank you for your faithful reading.

Now, may the Good Lord Bless and Keep You…
