Easter – Resurrection Sunday.


As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples… Mark 16: 5-7

Back when Sandy & I were first married (1975), contemporary Christian music was just in its earliest forms of development. By the late 1970’s, one young man was making Jesus famous through his unbelievable musicianship and anointed song-writing. That man was Keith Green. Ever since then, Sandy & I, on Easter Sunday, have always pulled out Keith’s amazing version of this wonderful Annie Herring tune, “The Easter Song.” Enjoy this video from one of Keith’s live performances from the early 1980’s. Jesus is Risen. He is Risen, indeed!
